Dumb question time again guys...

On the fuel rail there are 3 in/out lines:

On the odd bank fuel in
On the even bank regulator and fuel out, and another much smaller connection going in via a banjo. Can anyone tell me what this is for? and do I need it?

The only suggestion Ive had so far is its to bleed the fuel rail... surely it would self bleed once the pressure is built up an the air would be forced through the regulator....

Cold start injector.

Brilliant, thanks.

Makes a whole lot of sense when you think about it.... *knocks knuckles on forehead*

As we're not running the cold start injector It'll just be plugged.

You could use the tapping for a fuel pressure gauge.

That way you would speed up diagnosis of an unintentional wayside stop.

No pressure tells you it isn't ignition and you know where to start looking.

Weve already got a t-peice further down the line for our gauge after the high pres pump. Good suggestion though! If it wasnt already plumbed I would have done that!
