Why cant i say ***anese?
Why does it put astrix's where the J the A and the P should be?
Theres nothing wrong with saying ***

Its a sensor word. *** is offensive in the US Interpertation. The computer will *** every time *** comes up. I also understand *** is not an offensive word in Australian language.

And its not even offensive in the NEW ZEALAND language
Unless used in an offensive tone/manner or discriminating way as a derogotory comment.
But in most cases when it is used on this forum (which is dedicated to a Jpanese engine/vehicle) I cant see it being used in any other way than positive

We have lots of parts places with ***wreck, or ***parts in their business name.

But then again the brand name of our biggest selling cheese is frightfully rude to african americans (it's not intended to be, it's just it's name) I can't tell you what it's name is for fear of being booted off forever!

However to be ROOTING for something here is very offensive, it means having s e x.

A fanny in your country is not the same here I can assure you!!

What we need is a section that operates as a American/Australian/New Zealand dictionary so all those expresions we use and the Americans don't understand can be listed. No doubt we have the same problem but Hollywood and US TV make it easier for us downunder.
