flow for radiator

I saw this at a swapmeet last week .Besides the fact that it is a real shoehorn job to get this motor in there (1954ish ford pop) I was looking at the flow on the radiator.It in one side of the top tank , flows down through half the cores ,then throught the bottom tank ,up through other half of cores ,then out through other half of top tank.My question will this be an acceptable way off cooling the motor ,as it looks real easy to plumb up.

just a double pass,you probably heard of a triple pass before,no different.yeah itll work.
