Hi, Guys. Im new here. Ive installed a 1UZ in my FJ62 Double-Cab. (yes you read right) Standard Japanese model used as a fire engine in Japan. The engine is a 1996 Celsior, with the standard ECU thats been set-up for a Manual box. It runs really well except for decelleration when its warmed-up. It stalls, or tries to stall and if you feather the gas pedal, it kind a pings etc. Kind of like its retarded. Could this be because of a lack of a speed sensor off the rear of the g/box? Its running the standard "Mechanical" speedo set-up . Would appreciate any help you guys have.
