Does Size Matter?

I have three piston pin size:
.8275"
.864"
.927”

If they are all have the same material. Does the pin size really matter that much? Bigger is really stronger?

The bigger the pin the smaller the material around it to support the load.

As we all know rods normally fail at the little end from the piston ripping the end off the rod when the rod stops at TDC and the piston wants to keep going.
