Good afternoon,

Just wondering if any one could shed some light on what type of radiator I should look for a fairly minimal spaced rock crawling buggy?

Would something like a turbo diesel 3 core alloy hilux radiator with thermos be adequate?

I think they're around the 530mm x 420mm?

Any other ideas?

Hey ethann,
i know of a guy running a 1uz in a Truggy, he is running an alloy radiator about the same as a falcon radiator with the falcon twin thermos and it works well.

one thing to think about is that social driving etc it will be running for a while and in summer it will be harder to keep it cool due to lack of air flow.

a mate bogan has a ls1 in a patrol and he got a generic v8 alloy radiator and it was too small. he dummy fitted a bigger one and hasnt had heat issues.

Evan:)

Cool, will chase up a Falcon radiator.

What about the 3 core alloy falcon ones (upgrades for the falcons?) with the factory thermos?

Yep!!
If it's in a competitive buggy I would rubber mount and
have some reinforced bar across centre to prevent any whip!!
