Have been doing lots of reading through the great Aussie site Autospeed, it has lots of reviews on the remarkably cheap Silicon Chip kits you can buy, looks like there's a lot of potential for tuning tweaks.
Like this thing, looks like it does all the Apexi SAFC-II can (or whatever it's called, the MAF modifier), yet only costs $AU79 ! Use it to adjust the air flow meter output signal at over 128 increments, with each step having 127 adjustments.

Then you have things like a smart air/fuel mixture reader, with lean out alarm etc - $25!

Digital Pulse Adjuster (run an extra injector etc) for $71

The adjusters are controlled by a pretty neat looking hand controller, which is only $50 odd.
Anyways, thought I'd share the cheaper alternative. What do people think the odds are of the fuel adjuster working with our 1UZ MAF's? Do they use a rising voltage for signal?
