Charcoal Cannister

Hi All.
As I understand it the charcoal canister is to do with the gas tank side of things, I have a fully vented fuel tank, can I remove the canister from the engine, if so can somebody post a picture of what I can remove.
I have deleted the EGR setup but have not found any ref to the resister or where it fits, if anybody can help with that as well.

I should say this is not in a toyota and its a custom made fuel tank

The canister is designed to vent the fuel vapours from the tank into the inlet maniflod.

If you can get way with venting your tank to atmoshpere you don't need it.

Not that I'm saying this is socially acceptable.

Are these the 2 items either side of the EGR valve on the manifold and have the small pipes going to the throttle body, do I need to do anything with the plugs.
