Stange thing, I broke the propshaft today. It's a one piece with a slipjoint, It twisted the tube right in the centre, broke it in 2. Lucky for me it didn't dig into the road because at 140km/h it might have caused some serious damage.
Now the thing, I wasn't even racing the car, normal cruising speed for me. The tube wall thickness doesn't look right for me, it looks only about 2.5mm thick. It was build by a propshaft manufacturer and highspeed balanced, I've done only about 100km with it when it was build.
What wall thickness's do you guys use. What do you think was the cause of it, wallthickness?
I have to panelbeat the underside of the car now as it did do some damage to the flooorpan, transtunnel and my brand new exhaust(flattened it quite badly).
