Bad a650e no donut...

had to ditch the big rubber donut off the back of the a650 5 speed auto I have behind the 1uz Cressida, ended up using a VS commodore tailshaft CV...

I'm having the same issue with my UZ A650e 5speed auto swap. I live in Arizona, U.S., and I'm not familiar with the VS commodore. Did you cut the three bolt tabs off of the tailshaft flange and then weld on the VS commodore tailshaft CV mount or is the second picture the OEM replacement part. I've tried searching but I can't find anything conclusive.

did the same on my conversion. Brought A650 3-tabs part and a Volvo transmission flange to a specialist. He milled both parts so as to retain the proper mounting holes alignment and welded em together. Works fine for half a year, still running.

drayden, you can use OEM replacement part off some Supra (can't recall if that's JZA70 or JZA80 though). I'm sure ebay would suggest something upon supra flange request
