B & M shifter for A340?

B & M shifter for standard crown 4 speed auto?

Just need some info on how to go about fitting a B & M Megashifter onto a standard 4 speed crown auto if possible. Also has anyone fitted a Megashifter before and does it work well when properly set up? Can you just use the shifter without the ratchet function?

I've put a "TCI Auto Outlaw" pistol grip shifter in my 1981 hilux with the A341E behind a 1UZ. It works great. All I had to do was create an arm at the correct length to connect the cable to the gear selector on the box.

It's not a ratchet shifter, but the same setup would work for you.

You'll need to figure out how much cable is pulled (from park to 1st in my case), then using some mathematic voodoo, find the radius for a circle with a known circumference (based on the arc of the gear selector on the box and the cable-pull of the shifter).

If you need help with it, let me know the length of cable the shifter pulls, and what angle the gearbox selector swings though.
