auto gear box wiring

Just wondering if anybody can advise me . I have put a UCF11 1991 with its 30-41LE auto into an old holden , utilising the standard computer 89661-50102 26p/16p/22p/26p . the engine seems to run fine but it changes quickly up through the gears and won't change down, basically until you stop or are going really slow. any advice would be appreciated.

Have you connected a kick down switch? , the brake switch? Does it have any codes? Have you wired a diagnostic plug so a scanner can be connected?

How did you get on?

I would make sure that the throttle to gearbox cable (line pressure cable) is adjusted correctly. I would go for the workshop manual setting on this.
It is critical that it is adjusted correctly. Too much one way and the shifts will be too harsh and could damage the gearbox, too much the other way and the line pressure (what changes the gears) will be too low, so the clutches etc will slip, burning up the gearbox.

Maybe signal from gerbox tell black box ecu for engine going fast
