Individual throttle bodies on a 1UZ are one of those setups that look and sound incredible but live in a niche corner of the community. There used to be a handful of vendors making NA manifolds and ITB kits for these motors. A shop in New Zealand was one of the names that came up regularly years ago.
I'm curious where this stands now.

- Who's still making ITB manifolds and throttle body setups for the UZ family in 2026?
- If you're running them, was it worth it for the power, throttle response, and sound versus the cost and the tuning headache?
- Has anyone done a proper back-to-back, stock plenum versus ITBs, on the same engine?
