On my newly installed used engine w/ 50,000miles the low oil pressure indicator light is triggered on the dash. I checked each rod bearing and it looks brand spankin new but when tightened back onto the crankshaft there is a little side to side play (movement) on each rod and I know this isnt good because on my original engine there is absolutely no play when the rod is tight on the crankshaft. I am sure I will have to replace these bearings before I get the chance to see my rods hanging outside my block! BUT Can you guys guess why there would be play on all 8 rods with brand new looking bearings (no copper showing) ????
