Ring telstra and see if you can get "ISDN home" You can get up to 128kbs internet and works out cheaper than paying for two phone lines. Its still classed as a dial up service but is a digital connection to your isp.

If you cant get ADSL you can get satalight interent for free installation. P.M. me if you need more info. Not as good as ADSL, but lots better than a phone job. Thats how us Bushies that live out in the sticks get internet. Before satalight, we had to use smoke signals.....
