Acura NSX Submarine

I've run into this amazing video of a Acura NXS that's submerged and ran deeply in water and still ran afterwards. What an amazing NXS!

As amid engined vehicle water like that isn't a real problem.

When a car moves through deep water (over 2" or 600mm) slowly it drags a "hole" in the water behind it like a boat does.

Attached photo shows water coming up the windscreen, with a long way to go to shore, in our old rally Porsche 911. It crossed the flooded river in the outback which was about 150 metres wide and drove on no worries.

If you look carefully you can see where the water stops about 3" up the glass.

Water came in the ventilator and flowed across the dash and onto the floor!

The second photo is the same car two weeks later being used on a NASCAR track in Melbourne.

ok your Porsche is straight up pushing the limits of water crossing! I didn't get all that excited about the NSX driving down his neighborhood w/ 3 inches of water, thats not all that scary. When you have water rushing in above the hood like that, your really grabbing those cajones! lol
