I would like to get opinions about Cam choices for the NON VVTI, 97 motor. I did search but did not clearly see what I was looking for.
OK here is the question. I would like to know of the Cam choices available at this time, what the most cost effective Cam upgrade would be for my motor. I want something that has more lift and duration, not real wild, reliable, and that I would not have to do any changes to the Valve train, like shims and springs.
I know there has been some high tension disagreements about this subject, so please allow each thier own opinion without conflict. My mods are BFI, Port and clean Match intake, SS Headers, Mandrel Bent X exhaust, 125 Shot Zex, No CATS, and Unichip ECU. Thanks
