Why is China full of the extreme? We have the shortest people on earth but yet a boy (now a young man) with a pituitary disease grows up to 7 feet 9 inches and currrent looking for a job in the NBA.

That guy could reach the basket without jumping.... no fair.
I saw his story...He currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks basketball team.. Unfortunately, he is not cutting it...After numberous operations on his feet he still can't run all that well...Apparently as a youth he could not be fitted with the proper size shoes so his toes curled and became deformed from wearing to undersized shoes.... Those deformed feet of his apparently limits his skills in basketball so in future as a basketball player may be short lived...
He seemed like a good guy whom is not to troubled with his height...He is damn tall that's for sure....

Deformed feet? You should see these Chinese Women 50-70 years ago. Their feet were wrapped since they were a child and theif feet are most biomechanically deformed. They are called bound feet.
At that time, it was only the high class Chinese were able to do that. Seems like breast implant to have similar cultural values.

High class (lots of money) so your family could hire people to carry you. Women all over world seem to do some strange things in the so called pursuit of beauty. Where I am in the world, men still pay the brides family a dowery prior to marriage. One of the factors is skin color, the lighter the skin color, the higher the dowery. The women here bleach their skin, kind of the reverse of a tan line if you know what I mean. .

The Korean and the Japaness along with Taiwanese female are valued with pale or white skin. That is why bleeching is very popular in those countries. If you are in LA, you will see a lot of these form arm cover worn by Asian female trying to protect their skin from the sun.

LOL... that was considered sexy and elegant. I have personally have seen women with those deformed feet about 30 years ago in mainland China. Very painful and suffering.
It's very painful and suffering to view those pictures aswell.... I see no elegance in creating a deformity out of your body parts.. I see no logic in that.... Same goes for the tribal people whom stretch their necks with rings over time, and those peircing deformities in India, etc... I just don't get it....

Oop! With 1000 hp, curled feet can still be able to make 10 seconds for 1/4 mile.

this seems like a good time to mention how sweet it is being a guy. chicks have to do so much stuff everyday to look good or whatever. without even getting into the binding of feet, neck stretching, and boob jobs, etc, most spend hours daily trying to make themselves look better. and each day they've gotta start again! haha maybe thats why they're less interested in cars, its hard enough getting themselves lookin good

Oh John! Very well said. I can't say anything better. If you want your woman to spend the time with the mirrors & you can enjoy her beauty, you gotta bring home the bacons and a fat check. It's just that how the woman find her "Right Man" for the "Right Purposes".

I get alot of that here in Los Angeles, Cali. when I occasionally date the hotties... The beauties always say, I came to LA to become a model or famous actress..The truth of the matter is they are waiting on tables or serving drinks at a bar waiting for there big break to happen that will probably never come... Poor girls.... Then when their dreams don't come to tuition they search for the really rich old men that can take care of them...Based on their looks they usually can end up with that goal.. It's a sad situation if you ask me...Where is the love?????
Give me an average to cute looking girl with a great personality all day long....Less headaches...
