There has been an interest in using 6 Bolt Main cap on a 2UZFE block. I know everytime i used the main caps from the 1uzfe, then the whole block will be wasted. So I called up a local dealer and found out that Lexus DOESN'T sell main by itself. It would comes with the block. The price for the block and mains is $4,522.54 Ouch again......

They can't sell the main caps by themselves like they can't sell the cam caps without the head. It's a liablility issue, because with the addition of new main caps, you have to line hone the block (or head in the case of cam caps).

We can always make them out of 4340 steel... it would be much more affordable.
