I have an opportunity to change out my springs on my LS for stiffer ones w/ 2'' helpers all around for daily driving but before I can crack out the calculator and start crunching numbers I will need my 2uz's stock weight for a base. (OEM shortblock plz)

I bet it's over 400lbs, I just finished carrying this B**** up 17 stairs by :684: myself but just in case i wake up with a hernia tomorrow I'll need to tell the doc how heavy it was hehe.

It's been in my car for too long. I just stuffed it vertical behind pass seat and hauled it out here from SD, I was very impressed with how my LS managed. Goin up and down as much as 8,000 feet with my calculated load of 800lb of engine + other crap i managed 20mpg and higher on the flat stuff.

I had a friend that bailed on me to tend to his chick so I got a little excited about my new project so I "man handled" this one LOL. It was a stair by stair ordeal as I only weigh 170.

I need a couple things, first the 2uz weight w/o heads. And I need the size bolts used to bolt the engine to tranny... having trouble finding bolts to attach to my engine stand. I could not find at auto zone/kragen and lowes/home depot. I just bought some expensive m10 x1.25 that were too small. Guessing m11 or m12?? I know it's fine thread and all...

I had to find those bolts at the hardware store "Martinet Hardware". I think "Ace Hardware" has it, too. They're 12mm x 1.25. I used the bolt length 75mm. Each one costed $4.25.

I found an old thread on 1uz/2uz/3uz comparisons and found everything I was looking for. So 1uz block is 420lb and 2uz is 502lb, found out my seat swapping covered 70lb of that, and my batt is already in trunk.
