1uzfe vvti intake manifold flip?

Hi I am new to this forum I used the search function to find my question but couldn't find it so............ Can you rotate the intake manifold so the throttle body is on the fire wall side on the 1uzfe vvti engine? Also does anyone know if i can get a rear sump for the vvti?Any help would be much appreciated,

The blocks are the almost the same as early motors so you can fit a early rear sump. Otherwise a 3uz has a rear type sump. I suspect you could flip the manifold but would have to check to confirm. I will try and take some photos for you when I get a chance. I think the rear water bridge may need a tweak. Cheers

Yes it can be flipped. A few mods needed though and a longer throttle cable.

Alright, just fully read the first post. My motor is not VVTi but I'd assume it could be done.

hey peoples, i have a non vvti engine and looking at swapping the intake manifold around so it picks up on the LHS. Curious as to whats involved in doing this, i have seen some pics of it done but some intermediated pics or explanation would be tops
