1uz -> turbo 700r4

Our buggy was a manual and we are currently converting back to auto using a turbo 700r4 and adapter to nissan transfer for 4x4.
We were originally going to use a lextreme torque convertor "levy400" but with the 700r4 having different spline count it won't work.
Has anyone else put a th700r4 box behind the 1uz and if so any tips or hints??

Ive put a powerglide behind mine. Used a aussie six cyinder one with removable bell housing and used a delows bell housing. I supose you want an overdrive though, so gide no good.

Still stuck on the best way to adapt the 700?? Any ideas ??

Make a simple 10mm steel adaptor to bolt the auto to the engine.

Then you need to sort out the flex plate to torque converter.

Pretty straight forward.
