1uz to patrol gearbox

Dellows do a kit for mating the 1UZ to GQ 5Speed manuals. I can email the quote i got off them if you like.
I was going down this line but i now want the Auto so going to mate a Turbo 700R4 box to a Marks adaptor to GQ transfer case.
Ill be keeping an on your build.

That would be great if you could. I had a look through their catalouge and there is only adapters etc to go to toyota boxes but sounds like it may be worth giving them a call.

Spoke to dellows and they do a kit to mount the 1uz to gq 4.2L 5speed gearbox. Flywheel is their standard 1uz one (around $350au) which I think uses a v6 commodore pressure plate. The kit also uses a belhousing with provision to use the standard clutch slave. This was around $650au
