1UZ-FE Logo Question

This morning I went to buy a 1uz-fe and I noticed something odd. (Ok, maybe it is something odd for me only). Almost all the engines had a Toyota logo on the intake manifold, but only one had the distinct V8 logo on the intake manifold.

Is there a difference. Is the one an "upgrade" to the other?

You can buy the 'V8' logo and stick it on - what somebody must have done already
