Looks really cool but im not so sure about that uber complex bendy intake pipe that goes right over the hottest part of the motor.

shiney, i can't imagine all that piecing the pipe together is good for flow.

I agree, I was going to ask - but I lost interest in talking to the guy when he started bagging out his mates budget build next to him and talking about his $6000 braided lines - the way he was talking, any figures quoted would have to be taken with a pinch of salt! We'll have to wait until someone sees his car on the 1/4.

very nice build, love the intake manifold is it a one off or is there more if so how much

I mentioned this car to a mate of mine that knows the owner, he said it use to run a windsor V8, but he hasn't looked back since the 1UZ conversion. He thinks it got a 9.8 on a fairly soft tune with more to come. It competed in the http://www.streetcarsuperstars.com.au/ in January and is pictured in the current Street Machine Magazine in an article about the cruise.
