I recently swapped a 1uz into my tacoma, it is really hard to start and when it does run it runs way too rich dumping fuel and shooting flames untill it floods out and dies again. When it does run it has terrible power but doesnt seem like its missing. I have about 45 to 50psi fuel pressure, new injectors, a reman ecu, and a tweaked performance wiring harness. Donor car was a 96 ls400. Lately the only way it will start is pop starting because it floods out so easily. Could too much suel pressure cause this? Or another bad ECU?
