Any one have info on these? I've looked around the net..looks like no one has done any write ups or info on it. Its a 4.5L inline 6. I want to know if it can bolt up to the supra 6spd. Im contemplating a swap with this. I was going to do a 1UZ swap but sticking to the inline roots I wonder how this 1FZ motor will do. I have two MKIV supras and one of them I'd like to do something wild with.

I am assuming the 1FZ is the Inline-6 from the Landcruiser.

It will be a BIG HEAVY engine, I would not use it in a Mk.IV.

If you want to go REALLY wild try and get a 1GZ-FE for it.

Yeah I knew it would be heavy due to that larger cast inline block. I tried locating the 1GZ..impossible. I guess I will continue with plans with the 1UZ/3UZ.

This is the motor out of petrol 80 series Landcruisers. They are big and thirsty but can produce awesome hp. Guys in Oz have turbo-ed and supercharged them. I assume they are built pretty tough internally. I have read they have same bellhousing as 1uz or at least require minimal mods to go where 1uz would go; they are in the same engine family.
