1994 Toyota Supra - 1UZFE Conversion

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
so do you think the fpr or fc wire on the crown ecu would work to power the fuel pump ecu ?

If your ECU outputs FP or FC signals, then I think you have an older vintage ECU that just wants to see a fuel pump relay that switches a resistor in & out of the circuit to the fuel pump in order to vary its speed. This is a less reliable system than what Toyota/Lexus used on the '95 and later cars, and it will not work with the MKIV Supra's Fuel Pump ECU.

I think you could probably retrofit an earlier Fuel Pump Relay and Resistor to the Supra to make it work according to the earlier philosophy, or you could just feed the fuel pump through the main injection relay at 12v all the time, which is probably what you're doing now, right?

Or throw out the Supra's fuel ECU and go standalone. You will need to do that for the FI anyways :) I am getting a loom made up for my Supra right now to work with the new Link G3 ECU.

1UZ's sound very much like small block chevys due to matching firing order.

How much horsepower does it have? Also what would do you expect the 0-60mph and 1/4 mile times to be?
Dont have any horsepower figures or times yet! car has got fairly good traction with the 315 rear tyres and torsion diff.still need to refit side glass and rear windscreen. 2 get some times.

So did you use factory motor mounts to put it into the Supra chassis?

I wonder if that will work for the 2uz?
