    Sorry for the late reply. No it doesn't have an ecu but there are ecu's or triptronic style controllers that work with this trans.

    Yeah the proefi (that I use) also controls the DBW but it may be a bit overkill for some. The Link (or Vipec) are great ecu's as well.
