What's the problem exactly? There should just be 3 nuts on the top and one nut and bolt on the bottom. Maybe a few smaller bolts for brakes etc, but not much else. You'll definitely need spring compressors, otherwise don't even bother. The Craftsman ones run $40.

Steve, the procedure on my site will work for your 92 SC400. Try it, it won't do any harm. Let us know if it works.
