    Stock pistons with 2UZ swap?

I guess mix and match, 1UZ heads and 2UZ block. My question is do I have to buy the forged pistons to make it work, or can I use the original ones?

    Stock pistons with 2UZ swap?

I'm saving to buy an SC400 and put a 2UZ block in. I see that you guys advertise forged rods and pistons on the site, but my question is can you use any of the stock internals with the swap? Like, if I keep the engine at stock besides the block swap, and i use the 2UZ or 1UZ pistons and still...

Nissan GT-R vs. Chevy ZR-1...Unfair comparison

Well, when it comes between the GTR and the ZR1, of course the GTR is going to win, but that's because GM took a step back when they designed the LS9. A much more appropriate comparison would be between the GTR and the Z06 ($75,000 MSRP, 505 bhp)

    Howdy

Lol, that was exactly what I was planning on doing. But I was figuring more on the lines of a 4.7 bored out to 5.0, then RMT an 80mm.

A modded T/A could easily overtake a stock Z06 of the same year. The LS6 isn't that much better than the LS1. And as I said earlier, everyone knows about the LS1, but no one around here knows what a Lexus can do.

I doubt finding a good condition Lexus will be hard. Most Lexus owners actually take care of their car. I just gotta wait until I am "sufficiently funded"

    Embarasing Story

Depends on how much you're willing to drop and how much you're willing to DIY.

Nope, people usually symbolize an engine with a mix or 1JZ and 2JZ parts as 1.5JZGTEs, so I did the same for the 1UZ. All I meant by it was a 1UZ with a 2UZ block.

    Hybrids

Hybrids are just stupid in my opinion. It's just a bad compromise. We either need more fuel efficient cars in general (like what Ford's EcoBoost campaign is shooting for) or plug in electric cars.

Hi. My name is Thomas and I'm a senior in high school. Strange as it sounds, my DD is a 1999 T/A. I love my car, and the LS1 is a magnificent engine, but there are a couple problems with modding it. A. When working with it, I don't have a car. B. The LS1 is amazing, but everyone knows about it...

Saying Goodbye to the Big 3?

The big three do have fuel efficient vehicles, just not hybrids. I don't know too much about Ford and Chrysler, but I know the Chevy Cobalt is in the upper 30's in mpg, and a detune and CAI could easily pop it over 40mpg.
