can i use the standard ecu with out the auto and not effect the running of the engine, and motor in question is a 93' soarer and it is going into a lnadcruiser and i would like to use the OE ecu for now(keep cost down), but i have read/searched here and some say no go after market(i will later...

i got a soarer halfcut(auto) for a conversion project and i need to know what year it is and what wiring diagram i need to use to find out what wires i need/dont need for a manual conversion, the ECU/ECT part numbers are; 89661-24220 (175000-4403 12v) And ant other help would be great...

so the rear sumped soarer engine is harder to wire but not imposible, even when dropping the auto, and using the factory ECU

Is a 93/95 1UZFE(not sure what year it is) soarer motor a good start for an engine conversion into a landcruiser(rear sump). or is there a better model to use and what is a good price to pay for a halfcut Cheers Thommo

i would like to know what motor would be best for putting into a FJ 73, i can get a 1UZ-FE from the wreckers i work at, it's in a soarar AUTO (93-95) with a rear sump, (E-UZZ31-ACPZK) trans/axle code is A341E-A01A, it has a traction control thingy on top and thats about all i know and it's going...
