why? If you got 200 to spend why not put it towards a start for a decent exhaust instead and get more bang for your buck?

oops, back to square 1... evidently the adaptor bolts to the bottom of the oil filter bracket instead of to the block... bugga. David, have you got any of the plates above for sale?

bugger - the original engine bracket that holds the oil filter is our problem - its fouling on the skidplate. I was hoping to get something that bolted straight to the block... guess I'll have to make it afterall...

could anyone recommend a grade or brand of spark plug for my app. offroad racecar, stock internals, extractors and Im gonna rev the arse off it, cane it, and generally make it suffer. whats the stock coldness of the plugs, should I go colder? if so, by how many grades?

never got around to making that plate... were gonna spend A$40 and buy one (and cheat!) instead. Actually, its 2 less connections we have to buy to. We're also not going to worry about oil cooler at this stage (we just wanna go racing!) If after we test theres a temp issue at extended high...

I rang earls - $40 for cast adaptor, $66 for billet. Guess whos going shopping on the weekend!

Hey Elliot, Did you make your own adaptor for the oil output on the engine? if so, was it plasma cut etc as per your header plates (which worked brilliantly btw) and can I buy one quick and easy? Cheers mate, again, top work. :)

Do Like: Bill Croft (MoTeC and EMS tech advisor and beta tester) keeps telling me to use magnacor. Evidently he did some dyno testing for MoTeC trying different types of leads on the NA Lotus Targa Tas cars a couple of years back (he's got a dyno in his shed in his back yard!) and at peak revs...
