I was just going to try and use the whole wiring loom from the front of the sc. BUgger tring to use 40 year old holden wiring. (did i mention its going into a torana?) Havent looked at doing the fuel tank yet. Ill build a drop tank myself, so i can install a sc sender in it. I have a bosch...

They look good, and everyone uses the same old overpriced autometer stuff, and i want to keep as much of the toyota wiring etc. as posible (no point reinventing the wheel...) What tends to go wrong with the sc dash? I'm aware of diff/wheel speed errors. Jaycar does an electronic speedo...

How much do you want for them? i intend to run the sc400 electronic dash.

Thanks Hole diameter is 34mm shaft length from locating plate to center of drive gear is 60mm

thanks, i could machine up a new hosing to mate the auto's speedo sensor to the w58 drive, but an oem part would be better

the holes in the gear boxes are not the same, and the sensors are diferent lengths.

i have seen a thread where someone detailed how they put a w58 in a sc400 (with pics), a while ago. but i can't find it again. if anyone can link to it, or tell me who it was i will be eternaly greatfull.

Im doing a conversion with a sc400 (uzz-31) engine/computer and w58 gbox. (2931 stamped on box, if that helps) and 3.5:1 diff and 15-16" wheels i need an electronic speedo sensor. Can anyone tell me what sensor i need (part no. would be great.) Thanks boys.

i do set-up and programme industrial automation stuff at work. a basic t/c setup wouldn't be particularly hard to do. there are heaps of circuit designs in the internet for driving a stepper motor from a pulse input, and most aftermarket ecu's have a PWM output. I might also use the tc motor...

had a bit of a play around with the tc servo. Its just a basic stepper motor. i should be able to put together a simple circuit to get it to work.

Because the t/c servo is there. i reckon it would only need a pot or switch to get it to work. i just need to know what voltages etc the motor needs. And i might add t/c later.

Anyone know how to hook up the traction control throttle servo? i want to set it up so i can limit the power, if i ever let someone else drive the car. a sort of valet mode.
