i think not one up this way knows about the 1uzs so far its been holden l98s got a patrol and its getting an l98 with 6 speed tip tronic so got some custom modules to hook up to it to get around afew things for tip tronic

get yr 1uz wiring get yr 4runner wiring sit one ontop of the other then prob each wire on the body plugs and solder the matching ones together recalibrate yr tacho so it reads for a 4 cyl not a 6 if u are keeping 4runner gbox and transfer keep that wiring there dont cut it out

like gloverman said might also be cam sensors or cam signals try unplugging left cam sensopr and see if problem stays same then replug then unplg right cam sensor and see what it does if problem get worse on one sensor when u unplug it then u know that circuit i working

early 1uzs are dumb they only have afew dtcs the air flow meter will only have one code for it and one code for air temp if the car doesnt have obd2 then u wont get any lean this or rich that codes if the ecu hits 4000 rpm on the dot then shuts back down its the ecu getting some funny...

u dont even have to do that ive never bridged out those wires just run 12v start signal to the sta wire and remove the nsw wire from the ecu

550 thats pretty good for ecu and harness doe sit have inbuilt igniters since u dont need 1uz ones and i guess inbuilt map sensor ive done too many link ecus these days so dont normally steer past them hehehehe
