Does anyone know if the 98+ rear end would swap into a early year, 90-94 LS? The subframe in a 98 looks way different. But this swap would take the gear ratios from 3.62 to 3.27. Good for someone who doesn't have an automatic tranny any more :scratchchin: Are there any aftermarket performance...

Our factory ECUs limit it at about 6300, some have said it will blow arount 8K, but I'm not sure. From what I'v heard, 7500 is a good upper limit setting for a rev limiter. I think with the stock cams and fuel, the motor just won't breath to rev any higher before it blows :biggrin: Well said!!!!

Anyone know where I can source heims and other end parts to make control arms? I'm also specifically looking for cone shaped ball joint replacement ends.

I'v tried to blow a factory 1UZ too. No matter the rev limiter time it had, the never ending burn outs, the 120+ neutral drops, my 1UZ never so much as hiccuped. I look forward to the adaptronic install in which ill have the rev limiter super high, I'd love to see when it'll blow. I say, keep...

I didn't get around the corner before I modded the air box :tongue: I ran a 14.96 at 93mph with no interior, modded box and no cat back. I'm going to try again with the resonators back on. I'll post the time slips soon :)

I'v tried out many cars after I lost my '90 LS back in 2004, and each one never felt right. So I finally got my favorite year of the 1UZ LS400. It's a 2000 Platinum Ed., sliver on gray, I picked it up with 80K miles from a lady owner in CA and I'm lovin' it! It doesn't have air suspension...
