Its a VL Commodore Airbox with a Std. paper filter, a K&N one is on the shopping list.

Well finally got the truck dyno'd the other week, and am pretty happy with the results (i think, not sure why the torque goes up and down so much??). The calculted power at the flywheel was 189kw...so everything must be running right. Click the link below for the report taken at the wheels...

i use a ICE 16" push thermo fan on my 4runner and it works pretty good....only gets hot on high load, low speed (soft sand etc..) situations.......everyday driving, and traffic etc...its fine...

Is the ECU case meant to be earthed? I know for a fact mine isn't...and it seems to run fine, besides possibly using a little too much fuel??

Yeah cool as....I've got 3" tube sidesteps that are sealed up with fittings so they can be air tanks, so I was hoping to get a bit of use out of the compressed air. I'll wire it up and see how it goes, but by the sounds of it I will want something a bit faster in the long run.

Just wondering if anyone knows what the std. electric air compressors out of the half cuts flow? preferably in litres/min?? I recently bought a airlocker for the 4Runner and Scott from venom gave me one of the air compressors yesterday, which I'm hoping to use in the setup if it flows enough.

So the surf originally had the 3VZE V6 then? The will be in the passenger side kick panel, one is yellow with a green stripe and the other was yellow with a blue stripe. I can't remember which one is which, but if you get them wrong, like I did, the water temp will move up and down as you rev...
