    My conversion does this also, I just thought it was normal. When mine warms up it settles back down to aprox 500rpm. I just assumed The original car had better sound installation and you couldn't hear it. Love to hear what other people say, cuz your right it's anoying sometimes

    The wreakers I got my Half cut from did the same thing as this, All you need is a battery and a container of fuel with a fuel pump. The exhaust was cut off behind the gearbox like the rest of the car and sound the same as this vid. I think that vid has crapy audio, hearing my half cut fire up...

    Is you radiator hooked up the right way? standard is the other way right? as in bottom radiator hose to temp switch not top radiator hose?

    Too much Oil Pressure?

    Just want to know what normal oil pressure should be? Im running an aftermarket autometer oil guage and sender in the original oil senders spot. Engine is 1UZFE from crown at idle I get 55psi and at rpm I get just short of 100psi.

    Yes your right, but Im only interested in the working of this system and to see if it failing can cause other problems etc. If I dissconnect the VCV Plug will it cause fault code's in the ECU causing other problems

    I have a better Question Do I need to run the charcoal canister? Can I delete this or will it cause starting problems etc? Eg: I mean cap the vac lines on the plenum and unplug and remove that part in the photo

    Compatible fuel pump

    Iv'e got the VL pump hooked up to my early 1UZ and I get too much pressure, 40psi at Idle and 50psi at full rpm. (My 1UZ should have 35psi at Idle to 45psi at rpm) And it only cost me $50

    Better acceleration in 2nd than 1st gear

    ?? I've got a 1uz (conversion job) and the power button makes a HUGE difference to performance, changes gear's from first to second around 6500rmp
