Did some more measuring and research, was wondering if anyone experimented with putting the cam belt on tooth wrong thus advancing or retarding the cams one tooth? Also what about putting the scissor gears one tooth wrong? So you can experiment with valve overlap?

what torque have people tried over here? I use 8 kgm (80nm / 60 ft lb) but after rechecking I think one of the threads on the holes is not perfect anymore. Anyone tried higher torque? I hear people talk about 100nm (which is pretty standard on M10 bolts btw).

I'm not exactly sure what I need but the crashed SC400 I bought needs some wiring harnesses especially the one with the fusebox on it. Anyone breaking an SC400? I have some RHD cars here but the harnesses are not the same.
Measured up the shim on top of the bucket today and found out they are 1mm less diameter than the supra (as a reference). 27mm versus 28mm in diameter. The smaller diameter shim the less agressive / lift cams you can run (obviously). I'm wondering what lift people have already ran on the 1UZ...
