    Good luck to you on this one.That dash conversion sounds hard. One thing i could never get over were the seats on those mercs,they feel like your sitting on sprung bits of chipboard.

    using a pressure flush gun thats connected to air compressor.Take out the thermostat and flush from the top hose.When you have the t/stat out put some sort of bung or even jam ya fingers in the centre hole in the housing(bypass port).Otherwise you will lose alot of force through the bypass...

    that should be a superheat switch,they are just wired in series to the clutch coil from memory if the switch is normally closed.Im not much of a electrics guru though,i just do a/c stuff.
