most jap/euro stuff from about the nineties have thermostat is the bottom hose,it regulates temp entering the engine instead of whats coming out.

using a pressure flush gun thats connected to air compressor.Take out the thermostat and flush from the top hose.When you have the t/stat out put some sort of bung or even jam ya fingers in the centre hole in the housing(bypass port).Otherwise you will lose alot of force through the bypass...

its possible just as possible as anything else been a problem.Ive personally never seen one fail but not all compressors have them. All else fails,jump the compressor straight to the battery using a fuse of course.There will be one single wire coming from the very front of the compressor,thats...

Couldnt reply to your pm mate. From what ive been told most sunlight sensor are for auto only and if you put it to cold/manual mode it should run as a normal system and from what ive been told only looking but not using the info from the sunlight sensor. I would recomend having a look...

that should be a superheat switch,they are just wired in series to the clutch coil from memory if the switch is normally closed.Im not much of a electrics guru though,i just do a/c stuff.

depending on model it could be a slip sensor or superheat switch. Wiring the super heat is easy,just acts like a normal switch open/close.Its normally closed afaik. Slip sensor is harder and completly past me..If your using aftermarket ecu you could run with out either. Someone with...

i hope youve got a large cheque book,a/c on these things is pricey for new parts.I would be asking a few more questions as to what "dead" means.Is it leaking or has it failed internally?If its ONLY leaking you may be in luck but if its failed you will be up for a new condensor($700 odd dollars...
