    Ok so I got all that stuff done. Now there is a fairly loud ticking(all the time)and a whine(only between 1200-1400rpm) coming from the passenger side cam area. Anyone else heard of this? I really don't want to take it back apart.

    On a 1998 LS400 with the vvti engine it is totally different than earlier 1uz that I have owned. The cam seals do not appear to be removable from the front like the earlier models. Has anyone done this? If I do have to remove the cams to change the seals does anyone have a diagram or information...

    Ok this is getting on my nerves. I am doing this on the ground so that doesnt help. I cannot get the torque converter holes to line up with the flywheel. There has to be an easy way to do this, you all know that there is no room to see the holes so I am just wondering how you pros have done it...
