thanks for the info. so cribbj did u just use std springs for the modified manley retainers. by the way when i check valve clearance i measure the clearance in thou and measure the shims in mm

it would be good to work this out as a direct bolt on conversion. as im sure lots of people would be intrested in getting rid of the std setup

thanks for the replies. are you saying that the xr6t springs fit the titanium rb26 retainers without modification. and all fits under the yarris buckets. whwre would i get the retainers from. im running std cams.

has anyone tried this and is it worth it. is their much work involved. do you have to change retainers and what buckets to use. thanks

i have checked them and about half are wrong. im just trying to avoid having to pull them out, putting them back in and waiting for the shims i need. thats why i want to order a kit

does any one know what is a typical shim sise for intake and exhaust valves on the 1uz heads (27mm shim)? i am ordering a shim kit and dont want to order too many of the sizes i wont need eg 2.00 mm. thanks

T3/T4 T3/T4's are cheap on ebay only $320au new with internal w/gate. would these be a better option.

sr20 motor out of s13 silvia. 2 liter motor pretty sure

need opinions. thinking of running two turbos off s13 motor (t25's i think). would thes be big enough for the 1uz or would it be a waste of time. Reason: they are cheap from a wreckers. give me your thoughts please.

can some one please confirm with me if SLU red/white is the wire for tc lock up and is located in the plug for s1 and s2 if not which wire is for tc lock up. also what is SLN solenoid 4 used for? Thank you

shifter I have a mate who can make and program a controller for me. i was just wondering if s1 and s2 solenoids are all that need controling to shift gears when in drive. thanks for your repply and if his dosn't work ill come see you. Tom

i am running a stand alone and want sequential manual shift. does anyone know if rigging up the selector switch on side of tranny, so when drive is selected you can opperate the solenoides by other means than moving the shifter. basically i want to put it in drive and up and down shift via two...
