I don't remember exactly step by step but it's very easy. I'm sure there're 2 nuts/screws hidden behind fender, inside the plastic splash guard so remove the splash guard and you'll see the screws. And I think there're several more from the front. Don't force it. Lightly tap out the unit. If you happen to disassemble it to clean from the inside, use good gasket maker to seal it back completely. A heat gun is more than enough to soften the original seal.
