I have a 02' 1UZ VVTi motor in a stripped down 94 SC400 track car. I have been using Torque Pro app on a tablet as the gauge cluster... but now I need to install hard wired gauges...
I am installing a AutoMeter Tachometer #4497.
I have read various posts and now confused more than ever...
Do I pull the RPM signal from the TACH output on the ECU? From a coil-on-plug? Crank sensor?
Looks like a converter is needed... any specific one (AutoMeter #9117)? There are a lot of them and all seem to have different purpose/application... MSD has 4 or 5 different ones...
