Has anyone seen a MA61 with a tremec 3550 or TKO600? Just seeing if anyone knows if the transmission will fit.

I doubt it. I have a mate currently installing a the Getrag V160 6 speed into a MA61 and needs alot of tunnel mods. My TKO600 wasn't that much smaller than a V160 so i think you will need to cut....can't say how much though sorry.

I will be using a tremec 3650 to start on my swap. Depending on your time frame I may have the adaptor ready by the time you are ready. With this plate, you would be use a t45, tko, 3550, 3650, aode or anything else intended for a mod motor.

Thor Racing (UK) is offering a conversion kit for the 1-3UZFE with Tremec TKO 600. This manual transmission is the toughest known to the hot rod world. This transmission can handle 600 lbs of torque (I think the Supra V160 only rated at 350 lbs of torque)

The conversion was based on the Tremec TKO600 TCET4618 box.

BUT.....

The only IMPORTANT! feature is that this is the CHEVY style box. (NOT the FORD!) This dictates the length of the input shaft.
