Testing Coils

Does anyone know how to test if a coil is stuffed or not? I have done the procedures outlined in the pics below and i am getting 0.9 ohms on the primary coil when it should be 0.41 - 0.50 ohms. Does this mean my coils are stuffed? I get the same reading on both of them. The secondary coils are within specs.

before getting new coils what is the resistance of the leads in your multimeter? cheers

i have a 1000 dollar coil testing machine

works a treat can make them ut out a 1 to 2 inch ong spark

puts alot of load on them and gets them hot to test them under hi load conditions

so maybe find someone in melb with a similar unit

coils usually work ok or dont work at all

if yr abit iffy bout the coil jyst spend 50 bucks and buy another 2nd hand one

mr2 3sg coils are similar

sure sounds better than the: "sticking your ,willy, into a 85.000volt Facet motorsport coilpack" option.
