ok then..gen 2 engine (skinny rods)
6-7psi max,m112 sc, no intercooling...pinks on hard acceleration when on petrol but fine when on propane..(engine feels like ecu retarding ignition when pinking as its more powerful on propane.)

petrol is 99 octane..

stock ecu and injectors,aftermarket rising rate fuel regulator

a/f readings on fuel (wb sensor) 11.5-12 on "hard" boost...12-13 on propane..

really used to diesel tuning,so advice welcomed..is the a/f ratio too weak?what should i be looking for when foot to floor?(on petrol)



cures...??remove twin speed fuel setup and go max voltage on pump..
turn up fueling on regulator..
get cold air into air intake..

anything i have missed???
 
You are a little lean for a non IC setup but more importantly you need to take some timing out. Stock ECU i assume?

Otherwise, a good octane booster of some sort.

For the future i'd be look to get water injection on there!! It will make a big difference to power and long term reliability.
 
well taking timing out is gonna be hard untill i go for aftermarket ecu...

so water/alc injection...looking into that now..have to be diy though.(backyard engineering is us!lol)
 
Mine is DIY...pretty simple. I went with a Shurflo 120psi pump and a couple of aquamist nozzles (best spray pattern of all i have tested). Use a hobb switch set to 5psi and whatever you like as a tank and you are pretty well done :)
