i am possibly going to try attempt to convert my 1990 toyota celsior to manual.
does anyone know of any manual celsiors/ls400s around anywhere?
i am buying a kit of a guy this is what he says is included...
R154 Supra Turbo gearbox (the big strong one, used but ecellent condition), complete with brand new twin plate clutch setup for about 750Nm gives a lighter feel yet huge hp capability (capable of adjustment to 1000Nm+), brand new steel flywheel to suit 1UZFE lexus V8, brand new bellhousing kit from the rod shop including brand new slave and master cylinders, brand new race short shifter. Also includes thrust bearing, shifter fork, slip yoke,
all you need is a hydraulic line from the master cylinder to slave, a clutch pedal and your tailshaft modified.
In regards to wiring the trans position sensor is left in neutral and the engine works properly that way with a manual
does anyone know anymore about this, as it will be a learning experiment for me,
any comments and feedback is welcome.
thanks all
