JVG Motorsports
This is the place where you don't want to do business with.
The place is worst then a bank robber. They sell products
on Ebay by the name of
jgdynasty
so I bid on something I need. Here is a complete copy
un-altered ebay ads from JVG Motorsports
It clearly stated his product was a T04S and here is an example
of a
Garrett T04S with .63 A/R from cheapturbos.com and here is
an example of
Garrett TO4E with .63 A/R from the same company.
Here is an example of the Garrett T04S:

Here is an example of the Garrett T04E:

You can clearly see the compressor is a lot
bigger on the T04S. The T04S has a 4" compressor inlet
diameter vs. the T04E is only 2.5".
His ads in text and graphic clearly stated as
T04S. Matter of fact I think JVG Motorsports copy
Cheapturbos.com online store word by word and picture by
picture. To make the story short. I bid on this
supposedly T04S turbo. I won this auction on Oct 15, 2006.
I paid immediately as always via ebay auctions. I received
the turbo within a week or so. Initially I was very
excited about this turbo and wasn't aware of the model because I
have no experience of knowing the difference between the Garrett
T04E vs. T04S. Only experts in turbo would know the two
different models. As for me, I have to extensive research
and AIM many people to find out more about this. Toysmre
is one of my biggest helpers. He and I finally determined
this turbo was not T04S. Its was T04E via the model number
on the compressor. By the time we found out it was the
wrong turbo, it was like 14 days after the delivery. I
immediately filed a case with Paypal and the conversation went
on for couple of weeks. JVG Motorsports denied my claim
stating that I exceed the 7 days grace period on return.
My argument was if they didn't make the mistake initially
therefore this problem would not occur. Therefore JVG
Motorsport is blaming me for not reporting the problem within 7
days.
I told paypal why should I pay for his
mistake. After few days of emailing each other via paypal
resolution center, JVG Motorsports asked me to send back the
turbo. So I immediately packed up the turbo and send it
back. After two weeks later I email them. They
accused me of modifying and damaged the turbo. That is
just purely a lie. All I did was rotate the compressor.
It was not modifying or damaging. I called countless
times, email multiple times no response at all. They never
answer the phone calls and no response to my emails. Right
now, they have my money and my turbo. I am not giving up
on this issue until they send me either the T04E or T04S or the
money. I will continue to call and email until I get
something back.
So, please be aware of this robber.
They will take your money and hide. Do not buy anything
from them. Stay away from
http://www.jvgmotorsports.com
There are couple of theories why this thing
happened:
1. JVG Motorsports doesn't know the difference between the
two turbos. LOL and its a motorsports company?
2. JVG Motorsports mistakenly sent the wrong turbo
3. JVG Motorsports mistakenly had wrong texts and graphics
4. JVG Motorsports using bait and switch tactics
5. JVG Motorsports just plainly scamming inexperience turbo
buyers
Another funny thing is that I immediately give them positive
feedback. However, JVG gave me a negative feedback after
they received the turbo. i got robbed three times.
First was the money, then the turbo and last the negative
feedback.
As from November 15, 2006 (the turbo was purchased on Oct 15,
2006) I haven't heard a
word from them and right now approaching the second week of
January 2007.
Update:
01-04-2007:
I called a person named John. I found his number via SEMA
supplier list. He is associated with JVG Motorsports.
I left a message on his voice mail and waiting for his call.
I also called the main JVG Motorsports line and its a cell phone
and they just turned off the voice mail function.
I also created a fax and faxed to JVG:
Hello,
I am writing this letter
to inquire about the product I purchased via Ebay. The item
number is 320036423284 and my account is lextremely. We sent
the turbo back 7 weeks ago and I called multiple times along
with countless emails, but no respond at all. I am faxing you
this letter to keep in touch with you and trying to find out the
status of my product. The money was paid and now you still have
the turbo. I need something to come back to me. Either refund
the total amount or return the turbo.
Please let me know asap
and you can contact me at ********** or email me
l[email protected]
Sincerely,
David C.
