Wanted WTB: Toyota Intake Emblem or Whole Upper Intake (1UZFE)

I would like to replace my Lexus intake emblem with a Toyota emblem.

I've tried removing the Lexus one. I can tell it's not going to come off without breaking it, so I'm not sure if mine is just more brittle than most, or if it's impossible to get them off w/o breaking them.

Either way, I'd be willing to buy the whole upper intake for a reasonable price.

Hi.
I have that type on mine and are looking to peplace it with the V8 badge, I will see if I can get it off for you. I got an extra plenum with the engine with that on

They're stuck on with double sided tape.

Try a sharp knife or blade slipped under it.

Don't try to pry it off you need to slice through the tape.

Removal of badge

You could also try a piece of string or fishing line... saw it back and forth under the badge until it works its way through. Sometimes the double sided tape is to thin to let you get under it with a knife.

Use a paint scraper and a light hammering to get it off.

Then just stick it back on with either double sided tape or gasket goo.

Man heat the thing up slowwwly and it will come off. I have taken MANY stickers and emblems off with a light heat treatment and a plastic putty knife. Plastic knife protects paintjobs, aluminum and anything without leaving a scratch.

Sounds like you have a new one coming so I guess you can just hammer on the old one. =]

I guess I wasn't clear - I want the Toyota one, not the Lexus one.
